GILDERSOME PRIMARY SCHOOL
Gildersome Primary School decided to significantly improve their outdoor nursery and reception play area during the summer of 2017.
The area is large and measures 36.5m x 8.2m. It suffered from major historical drainage issues and this meant the project needed to be divided in to three phases. The first address the drainage issues, the second addressed the new play equipment and the third phase delivered the new play surface.
Following a formal tender exercise, the task of installing and commissioning the artificial grass was awarded to Eternal Lawns in Morley.
Chris Cassar made several visits to the site ahead of the project start date. He wanted to be completely sure he was aware of the schools detailed requirements and how the project would progress during the summer vacation of 2017. Chris worked closely with me right the way across the summer and identified and resolved several key issues outside the brief before they became more significant. We are very happy with the end result.
