After the success of last year's award winning pop up park at Cookridge Street in Leeds, we were delighted to be asked to work with Leeds City Council once more.  This year our pop up park was situated on the prestigious site right in front of Leeds Town Hall.  One Monday morning in early April, our installation teams arrived at the Town Hall and cordoned off the whole are, ensuring a safe working environment but allowing the passing public to see what was going on.

After cleaning the site, our 30mm Superior artificial grass was laid from kerb to kerb, starting at the inner lion all the way along the front of the Town Hall to the second lion. The rolls were secured together with jointing tape and adhesive and to ensure the grass remains in place throughout the installation, small bolts were fixed into the mortar of the cobbles

Once in position, the artificial grass was lightly sanded and brushed up using specialised tools to leave the 310m2 expanse of grass looking pristine and ready to use.  Ten picnic tables were placed along the 35m stretch of grass and in the lovely Yorkshire sunshine were soon put to good use.
